A typical scuba dive with Max Divers lasts around 45 to 60 minutes. However, the exact duration of a dive can vary because every dive, diver, and set of conditions is different.
The most important factors are your air consumption, the dive plan, the conditions on the day, and the experience level of the group. Some divers naturally use air more quickly than others, especially if they are new to diving, excited, or not yet fully relaxed in the water. With experience, good buoyancy, and calm breathing, many divers are able to enjoy longer and more comfortable dives.
Our guides plan each dive carefully and monitor the group throughout the experience. We do not rush dives simply to follow a fixed time. At the same time, safety always comes first. We finish the dive with a safe air reserve and follow the agreed dive plan, even if this means ending a little earlier than expected.
A shorter dive does not mean a less enjoyable one. The Maldives offers amazing marine life, beautiful reefs, sharks, turtles, rays, schools of fish, and many special moments underwater. Our goal is to make every dive safe, relaxed, and enjoyable rather than to focus only on the number of minutes.
