Course Objective

The Diving Instructor Exam is the final assessment in the Max Divers sport diving instructor pathway. During the IDE, candidates demonstrate their ability to explain diving concepts, teach practical skills, evaluate students, and make responsible decisions in training scenarios. It is the final step toward becoming an instructor who can teach with clarity, care, and professionalism.

  • Completion of IDP
  • Sufficient diving experience
